What makes us individuals? What makes up our personality and character? Let's say we make it and become Gods and Goddesses. We now have a perfect knowledge and therefore have the highest level of intelligence; we have acquired all of the God like attributes and have a perfect righteousness; and we are able to see in every perspective...what then sets us apart from each other?Answer:
I believe it is our personalities. Our likes, dislikes, hobbies, interests. Just because we are destined to become Gods and Goddesses doesn't mean we become God. We are still "us". This means we still have the freedom to choose what we enjoy and what we don't. For example, it amazes me when I'm in nature (especially the mountains) how close I feel to God. When I am in the city, I don't feel it as much. It is my personal opinion/belief that God enjoys nature and more specifically, He enjoys the mountains. We read often in the scriptures where some of the most important doctrine is revealed or where God actually visits his prophet. These occurrences almost always happen in the mountains. The scriptures refer to the mountains time after time. So Brooke, my answer to your question is that we will still have our personalities, our enjoyments, our righteous pleasures and this will maintain our individuality. :)
