I'm sure you're wondering my very special blogging friends, how an awesome person like me came to be... well here it is!
Age 0> In my mommy's tummy eating chocolate (thanks to my mother this is a reaccuring event-minus being in the tummy..)
Age 1-3> Traumatic event. My uncle chased me around in a gorila suit. I have definately been permanently altered. I hate the zoo. There's another memory....something about a table and chairs and angry people...
Age 4-7> Learned how to ride a bike, remember watching Saturday's Warrior, discovered my favorite christmas song of all time hey santa. My grandma told me that she saw a dog running around in her neighbors yard, then she told me that the dog had died 4 days previously. I combed my grand pappys hair for a quarter. I touched an electic fence. I won the schools art contest grades kinder-4th..ha! Our school was soo small i remember when the 4th graders had to learn cursive... We lived in a white barn, log cabin, and a normal house. Two of my dogs died strangly shocking deaths....I havent owned a dog since. They were traumatic events..
Age 8-12> My dad got custody of me. I invented kids day June 24th (We still celebrate it to this day:)) Played soccer for 4 seasons...i cant....remember...all our names....dang... I know one was raiders. Met Jasmine! Jumped rope with Jasmine in the school talent show to some nsync song. I need love, you need love, we all really need love.. Discovered I could only be a soccer coach or an opera singer. Had my first boyfriend, Trever. It only lasted 2 days. Our love was sweet though. Subway....biking.... and I think his sister stole my quarters. I went to Florida all by my lonesome to visit my cousins. On the plane I thought I was high and mighty! I could order all the ginger ale and hot chocolate I wanted. The Christmas Eve of my 12th year my dad woke me and my brother up around midnight and we went sledding on a golf course. Ya, we had to jump a couple of fences..and I ripped my snow pants.
Age 13-16> My teens.. We moved to Kaysville. My cousins moved to Kaysville. Actually most of my extended family lives in Kaysville now.. :) AND it is spectacular! 9th grade was a hard year... I started my High School career with my cousins and new found friends. I got a job at Dylans (because of Mike:)) Mmm...good days. Ice skating on the floors, snow ball fights. I learned how to drive in my parents old white van-auto. My first date was with Mike at the Christmas Dance. I took piano lessons for a year and then I got a letter in the mail from my teacher saying I needed to quit....ha, i wouldn't practice=)
Age 17-18> Katya!!! I got my first car.. a white daihatsu charade (aka old betsy). I have to mention that I almost died in this car; there are too many times to count. I played softball for the city of Kaysville. For three weeks I worked at Holister, and one week at Papa Murphys. I couldn't take the dramma! I did learn valuable folding skills and the correct pizza making procedure.. I graduated high school. Went skydiving day after. Moved out. :) Bam! ....met James. Went to Oregon with my family and ate shark. Started working at Country Care Assisted Living and met Elva:) My 18th Birthday me and my dad went to Cali to get my buggy. On the way, old betsy broke down right outside of Vegas...we had to hitch hike back into Vegas and take a night bus the rest of the way. In the morning we walked the couple miles to the dealership. I learned a lot from my dad:) Went to college...for a semester.
Age 19-NOW> Moved to Farmington.. Started reading intelletual books...ha. Went to college for....a semester. Started learning the guitar. Started running (and I have now completed a 5k, 10k, 10 miler, half marathon, 30k and I signed up for a marathon in Aug). I'm in a play! The King and I... I am one of many wives. I might go to Samoa in Aug with my momma for the 5 year reunion. I sure do hope that works out...
Well...there you have it! I'm swell and so is my backgroud. Be sure to stay tuned for the next 20 years...in 20. Cheers!
